Professional Background
Brantley Bruner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in Florida and Alabama. Brantley received her Bachelor of Social Work, as well as her Masters of Social Work from The University of Alabama (roll tide!) Brantley completed her practicum at Manassas City Public Schools in Manassas, Virginia, assisting students with life challenges including traumatic grief, pregnancy, insufficient resources, and mental health crises. Most recently, Brantley provided intensive, evidence based trauma therapy treatment to survivors of crime and sexual violence at the Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center.
Therapeutic Approach
Brantley creates a safe, supportive space where teens and young adults can be heard and understood. Brantley specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma or are navigating common mental health challenges, including anxiety, problematic behaviors, anxiety, and depression. She seeks to guide clients in processing painful experiences and emotions without judgement. Her overall goal is not only to empower clients to heal, but to move towards self-actualization, becoming the best version of themselves.
Brantley uses a number of evidence based treatment modalities and interventions in her work, including: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and TF-CBT for Problematic Sexual Behaviors (PSB). She also has experience utilizing trauma play, Sand Tray, and is adoption competent.

Brantley moved to the area in 2021, after living in Northern Virginia, to return closer to her hometown of Headland, Alabama and her family and the beautiful Emerald Coast beaches. Brantley aspires to travel the world with her husband and baby girl, enjoys SEC football, spending time in nature, and sharing laughs with friends and family. In her down time, she practices self care by playing games, exercising, taking naps for physical and mental recovery, thrifting, and listening to music.
