About Hillary
Hillary Owen has been trained in EMDR since 2018 and has used EMDR with clients ages 3 years old and older in both individual and group settings. Hillary has advanced training and experience utilizing EMDR to treat attachment wounds (Laurel Parnell’s Attachment-Focused EMDR), complex and ongoing trauma (Ignacio Jarero’s EMDR-PRECI and ASSYST), Dissociative Disorders (Dolores Mosquera’s Progressive Approach), addiction, OCD (the Distancing Technique), and integrating IFS with EMDR (Kendhal Hart). Hillary has served on faculty for EMDR Basic Training with the Haven Wellness Center, where she completed her Consultation-in-Training hours and became an EMDR Consultant. In addition to EMDR, Hillary is a TBRI Practitioner, certified in TF-CBT, and trained in DBT.
FAQs
Who can join?
Participants must have completed EMDRIA-Approved Basic Training to join. Participants can use group for consultation towards EMDR Certification, EMDR Consultant-in-Training, or are welcome to join simply for peer consult.
Are associates (RCSWI, LMSW, LPC-A, etc) able to join?
Sure! As long as you meet the criteria above and are under appropriate license supervision.
What is the commitment?
The group meets bi-weekly, and I ask that you commit for a month at a time. This allows me to manage the size of the group in a way that provides the best experience for everyone.
